Inner game is always a hot topic on this sub. Most pickup forums are more based on actual techniques - what to actually say, discussions on ways to open most effectively etc (outer game)

Inner game is often used as the reason for those getting no results after hundreds of approaches.

How are we actually defining 'inner game'.

There seems to be a mixture of opinions. Most people talk about 'getting your life in order, and the girls will come' when talking about 'inner game'.

'Getting your life in order' presumably means a very well paid job, lots of interesting hobbies etc?

Now, One of my favourite posters here (and a Mod: recyclablebanthas) has spoken about how you don't need ANY of those things in order to be very successful with girls.

I also know that this is true, because some of the most prolific slayers i've known have had what most would consider to be a 'bad life situation'. Unemployed constantly, spend lots of time playing the playstation, Seemingly no ambition etc. Some of these people used to be slamming new girls every few nights. They might not have been 'good' girls (girlfrined material), but some of them were super hot, and that's all most of us care about when it comes to getting laid!

Similarly, I know one or two people (one being my brother) who have amazing, well paid careers, lots of hobbies etc, who are awful with girls and get zero interest. The fact that they 'have their lives in order' seems to help them not one iota when it comes to girls and girls being interested in them. They area invisible

So, with that being the case, what is inner game? how do we define it? What, in terms of 'inner game' are the tangible bits that lead to getting laid and having good 'game'?
