How do you guys feel about coffee dates?

Coffees are my go to date idea. They're cheap, don't require a lot of investment and can be fun. I don't recommend going to dinner with a girl you've only met, that's a lot to swallow (pun intended). A coffee date can be short/long and sweet, filled with emotion, fun, thrill, stories, get to know you talk, etc...

It’s 2022 you can drink coffee any time of the day! But seriously, cafes are nice. They’re casual, cheaper, you can get something small to eat instead of something big, and you don’t have to get caffeine. Most cafes have juices or other options. It’s been my go to lately as I’ve been trying to drink less alcohol.

And it lasts as long as you’re having fun. I usually will hang out there for a while talking, and then if the mood is right maybe leave and walk around, check out shops, go to another spot for cocktails. You can do anything.

Ideal first date. Scope them out. Give them a taste. Leave then wanting more. No more than an hour !

I love a coffee date. I like to find a good coffee shop and then if the conversation is good, go for a walk to extend the date.

Very good . Never buy food for people you don't know unless they're homeless. Food dates are terrible. I only take my friends out to eat.

With girls it's ice cream or tea/coffee.

Coffee dates are fine.

I prefer to structure my dates to have some kind of activity first, and then food or drinks second. That way, were guaranteed to have something to talk about when we're sitting down over the coffee or cocktails in case we run out of things to say.

But if you don't have the time for both of those things, or just can't think of anything of any cool activity to do first, yeah, coffee is fine.

You can do coffee in the afternoon/ evening as well. Drinks or ice cream are also an option. In addition, the date doesn't have to end with the coffee. If you're both feeling good, you can extend the date and do an activity, like visiting a park.
