Too many logical questions in a row kills tension. Here’s the actual framework.

Level 0 is what to avoid: job interview mode. “Where are you from? What do you do? How long have you had your dog?” Questions back to back with no tension or personality. This is where most guys get stuck.

Level 1 is statements about her. Stop asking, start observing. At the dog park: “Your dog is judging everyone here, same energy as his owner.” Or “Let me guess, you spent more time picking out his collar than your own outfit.” No question mark. She reacts, you haven’t put her on the spot.

Level 2 is “us” statements. Treat the two of you as a unit. “Our dogs are already better friends than we are.” Creates a subtle us-vs-the-world dynamic that builds warmth fast.

Level 3 is flirty statements about you and her together, but only once levels 1 and 2 have built enough warmth. “You and I are never going to get along.” Or “We’re getting divorced. You keep the kids, I’ll take the house and the boat.” Delivered with a straight face and a smirk. Don’t skip straight here without earning it first or it’ll land as weird.

I will reframe your entire connection, because I don't think you are aiming at turning conversations into flirting or teasing just for the sake of it. Your real question, is how to capitalize on attraction, i.e., how and when to escalate.

The key concept here is social (she is talking to you) vs sexual (she fancies you) hook point. And before anything, you need to realize that the former, doesn't always lead to the latter. A girl might be talking to you for 100 reasons, but might not fancy you at all (more common in social types of game).

Hence, the transition between the two happens by 1) showing value and 2) screening for interest. Now, you can understand that there is no magic to it. There is no cheeky line to let you bridge into escalation.

The question therefore, becomes what is small enough to test the waters. Usually, distance, light hand touching, and upper part of the arm are the smallest things you can test. If she accepts the touch, the smart thing to do is to move her (cafe, or smoke brake in the club) and then play on from there.

You're looking for specific advice... If you see her again, give her a smile and say you were hoping you'd run into her again. See how she responds. If she's warm to it, lead the conversation towards specific plans.

If you can keep the conversation going, walk your dogs to get ice cream or something together. If the timing's not right, give a specific "let's grab a drink Thursday" (bonus points if you can tie the suggestion back to something she's expressed interest in).
