Tldr : Girl came on very strong, we almost had sex on the second date, then she ghosted for a few days and said she wants to slow down. We still had a third date and kissed again. I like her but how to escalate at the 4th date ?

I met this girl on a dating app. She is 28 and I am 32 .At first she was very interested, almost love bombing. Then right before our first date she kind of stopped texting as much.

The first date was great. We kissed, but she seemed very hesitant. She said her love language is physical touch.

The second date was much better. She told me she does not want to have sex before getting to know me. When I dropped her off, I had to use the bathroom at her place and things escalated. She seemed down to have sex, but it did not happen because I did not have a condom. Yeah, stupid me, I forgot it at home on my desk. I could have gone to the store, but she said she wants to know me first.

We also agreed on a next date.

After that, she ghosted me for a couple of days and did not respond to my texts. Then today she said she had been thinking about what happened and wants to slow down the sexual side of things. She also apologized for disappearing. I kind of feel like she is breadcrumbing me, but I am not sure.

The third date happened and I was more hesitant this time, but she broke the touch barrier again. We had some drinks and kissed. She said she still wants to get to know me before sex, but that does not necessarily mean we will not have sex.

Later, we were near her car and kissing. I said, “We can get in the car for more kisses,” and she said that would be “too many kisses” and turned it down.

Now I kind of have cold feet. I missed the chance on the second date, but I actually do like her. Having sex would not make me ghost her.

What should I do for the 4th date? How should I escalate? Do I take her out for drinks or invite to beach ?
