This was very helpful, but always remember that silence in conversation is natural. Don't freak out if there is a break, this just gives you both time to think of another topic. Not hating, just supplementing.

Am I the only one that thought Jane wasn't very interesting to begin with? With the mock convo they had she only gives short answers that just answer his question. She doesn't try to keep the convo going. It seems that Will is the only one making an effort.

I feel like we need articles like this but more in-depth. This is probably the weakest point of my game, not just keeping a conversation going but also just random interesting things to talk about and how to broach those subjects.

there is a tone to this article that reads "if you're an ugly dude you can still maybe get a number if you're a good conversationalist". It came off like advice to encourage the slow kid in class to catch up. We believe in you Timmy! I thought the point of this sub was to focus on getting out of that mindset and building confidence in yourself regardless of the outcome? great advice, not so great examples, counterproductive presentation.
