EDIT: You guys are the best. Thanks for the real talk. I needed it.

Disclaimer: In this post I'm seeking advice, no offering it. Also, I in no way intend to become a PUA, but actually just have a steady girlfriend or a few FWB, whichever comes first.

Anyway, here's a little something about me. * Ivy league student in a big and "popular" fraternity.
* First kiss age 12, Lost virginity at 17. * I'm a junior in college now, had a reasonable amount of sex in high school, but have not gotten laid once at college.
* I have ADHD, but no one know because I'm way too fucking quiet outside of my fraternity.
* I produce sexy hip hop beats.

My problem is that I am essentially anti social outside of my fraternity. I picked my roomate my freshman year the summer before school started on the basis that we each smoke weed. Long story short, I felt obligated to smoke so much weed my freshman year that it crippled my social life, so I ended up joining whatever fraternity my friends were joining, regardless of whether I liked the brotherhood at all. Now I'm a junior and I only hang out with other fraternity brothers, who I either met on my floor freshman year or through the fraternity (obligated friendships). I'm a reasonably good looking and personable guy on the outside, so people regard me highly as an acquaintance, but I literally never make plans with anyone I meet, and rarely even get their phone number. I only have 1 friend outside of the fraternity who I work with so I see him outside of work to play basketball occasionally.

My issue is that I have always been a moderately talkative person and make a surface attempt to say a few words to people, and then give up once I see they are judging me. I get exponentially more discouraged when I see those same people being entertained by more social people, because I clearly was not able to provide any joy in their lives. Why the fuck am I so negative, or at least not fun, when it comes to interactions with other people?

I'm not expecting this post to solve any problems directly. If you have some valuable advice, great, I just want to have a discussion about these feelings we all go through.
