Yes, it is. However, over time it raises Approach Anxiety in the guy because it being to feel like the longer it takes to approach, the more of a pussy he looks like. It's too intense and guys are caught off-guard.

If you want to be approached by the guy, smile, wave, raise your eyebrows, say hi... (technically you're approaching in some of these).

I keep locking eyes with everyone on the street. The feeling when they look away is really interesting. It's like winning a battle.

But there's a difference between interested eyes and dangerous eyes. The other day a kid (probably 14-15) had a crazy look in his eyes. His gaze made me think we were gonna fight any second. Don't be that kid.

Depends how you lock eyes, but you can use your eyes to communicate interest. If you're trying to invite him over, as others say, smile, maybe wink--if he's clueless, but yeah you can lock eyes to invite a man over. If not interested in him, however, then probably best not to.

Locking eyes can definitely be a sexually charged move, which means there is a fine line between it being seductive and it being creepy. Mark Manson defines creepy as being sexually threatening, so I'd imagine a guy doing this to a stranger on the subway would be in that vein, while a girl doing it from across the bar is sexy as hell.
