I told my dad who kept saying a girl was either too young or not in his league. I told him, it’s not that she’s not in your league, it’s that currently your not putting in the work to be roughly the same league. If you put in the work - looks(gym,dress,nutria toon,hygien) develop game , and develop some affluence, you got the trifecta.

What??? I am 2 years younger than you. Most of the people in their 30s are either never married or divorced, very rarely to meet someone married in their 30s. And it’s not too late even in your 40s or 50s, or even at 80 in a nursing home you can seduce fellow retirees.

I don’t think there would be an age at which you’d be too old to approach, however you could be far too old for the person you’re approaching. Of course, sometimes you really can’t tell someone’s age, but if you’re 40 going after women who look like they’re freshly 18, you’re probably going to seem creepy.

I’ve had a man who was very obviously 50+ approach me when I was 20 (and I have a very young face so could’ve passed for even younger) and that was creepy and weird to me. Maybe some people don’t mind, but I’d say you’re safer not approaching people who look super super young and leaving that for online dating, where someone much younger looking for someone much older can use filters for that.

Well according to a study done by OK cupid women are most attracted to men who are slightly older than them at all age ranges and at around 46 men start to fall off in attractiveness.

Try thinking about it from the woman's perspective. If you were that woman why should be interested in you and what do you have to offer? Go for it and if you are getting rejected a lot you need to improve yourself or lower your standards.

Sometimes I laugh at the “approach” stuff. Sounds to me like you just want to talk to people.

I mean, what is “approach”? According to the internet it’s this weird step by step process where you use experimentally proven social devices to seduce women.

But to most people, this is just human interaction. You see a girl you think is attractive. You want to introduce yourself. Are you in a time and place where it would be socially acceptable to do so? (Club, party, bar, concert, some other social gathering) Then go for it.

Is this woman minding her own business? Are you in a time and place where it might not be appropriate and a little weird? (She’s a server / bartender, shes working in general, she’s walking to a destination, bus stop, etc) I wouldn’t, because I think it’s important to respect people’s privacy and personal doings.

Point I’m trying to make is you’re never too old to socialize and try and meet new people, this includes women. But I think the pick up community supports some weak, creepy ass shit. Like cold approaching women who are going about their day and probably don’t want to talk to any strange men looking for pussy. Some of these people will completely disregard wether or not that woman might be married / in a relationship because they just want a lay.

I digress. Just go out and talk to people. Try some local bars. Literally just make any kind of conversation and you’ll warm up. Gotta push yourself out of your comfort zone a little bit. Maybe attend a concert or something. Go where people go to socialize and hang out. There are lots of those places in the city.
