Last night I was on a first date with a very attractive half-Japanese/half-Thai girl. I showered up before the date, got dressed up snazzy, and was, for all intents and purposes, bringing my A-game.

Except I wasn't. Not even close. I failed to kino escalate and I got a mere kiss on the cheek at the end with a one-way ticket to the friend zone.

Why did this happen?

One word: Logistics.

Logistics are SO incredibly important, gentlemen! Do you know where you'll be bouncing her to? Do you have a location where you can take her for sex/escalation? What's your plan to get her from point A to point BJ?

In my case, all three of my usual places were off limits for the night. I went into the date with no concept of where I could bounce her. Also I did not know ahead of time that she doesn't drink. Go me for meeting her at a bar (derp).

Poor logistics can negatively impact your state

In my case, I unconsciously hesitated to kino escalate, like I normally would, because I knew I had nowhere to take her. The whole thing weighed upon me like a sack of lonely bricks.

So my parting wisdom is this: Remember, AFCs worry about game, PUAs worry about logistics.

If you have a mental roadmap for how the night will progress, with no logistical issues cockblocking you, your state will stay high and you'll escalate like a boss.
