Bro are you sure it's your text game that sucks? I'm pretty certain dating apps are not a good barometer, all guys get rejected on apps. Maybe try doing some real world approaches during the day or at bars and clubs

I am really bad at texting but is mainly cuz I don't like it, so I have been trying and I got bored, but in person in a whole different history, hopefully that's what matters the most, so I use texting to set the dates and maybe one or two jokes that's all.

Don't try to "spike emotions" through text. Get her on the phone/face time. Just don't turn it into a long conversational vortex. Show her that you're a real person and then end the call on a high note in the conversation after brief banter. Save conversational texting for when you're a couple.

Generally treat it just like a warmup, to show your communication skills and spark some connection and emotions, if you spend too much on a conversation that engage minimal amount of senses and commitment, your relation will be established more like distant friends. About grinding your technique, I believe it's better to learn from your experience, analyse the feedback and test out different mindsets, attitudes, methods, it's not a school where you learn a template by heart and always pass, you need to gradually develop your skills to be able to handle any possible scenario.
