Yes you are. Both you and the women there have some common ground: going to the same campus and you’re all adults. Sometimes I see a bit of age difference is frowned upon or even ridiculed on reddit, but never see it irl.

Yes, you are overthinking this. It's just your relation would be slightly different than among peers, but it doesn't mean it would not be proper or valuable. And women often seek qualities which are presented by men older than them.

My current gf is the most grown up and mature I've had and she is 22. I am 38. Some people thought it was weird but that's where not caring is a luxury, the people that actually matter supported us. I got sick of the entitlement of women my age and she got sick of the overbearing clinginess of guys her age, it was a good fit. Ultimately all that matters is that she is over 18 and you are compatible.

I don’t agree with most of these comments. I’m a college student myself and most women in their undergrad would find someone of that age hitting on them strange. Most of these women are new to dating and would be intimidated by large age gaps
