I just finished up one of the most memorable nights of my life with my dream girl. Near the end of the night, we were lying down together. Watching a movie--at least she was. I was lying there, thinking.

I was thinking about my journey from being loser to the man I am now--albeit shorter than most, make no mistake, it was hard and a whirlwind. In the back of my mind was a post that r/seduction subscriber Cakebread submitted titled 'Feeling disillusioned with seduction'. I don't know Cakebread, but I've read some of his posts in the past, and his whole thing was 'I'm trying to connect,'.

At first, I didn't understand his approach. I was initially attracted to the seduction community to try and get laid--I was a young, angsty teenager. Soon my feelings evolved into something like 'we're all here to become better men', and I still feel that way. But it wasn't until just recently, just tonight, laying there, when I realized what Cakebread meant.

It wasn't my own doing that brought me to this realization, either. If it wasn't for this girl, I'd probably be stuck in my old ways, my old train of thought. It wasn't until a girl took me by surprise and showed me how I don't really need to worry about things that I used to. And how I didn't need any of my old tricks to get this girl.

I used to be so caught up in how my openers sounded, catching IOIs, and impressing random girls by being something I maybe wasn't. You could even say I tried to fool some girls. I'm done with that now.

I'm rambling. These are probably just the words of a lovestruck kid here, and I'll probably wake up in the morning and delete this. But what I wanted to leave you guys with tonight is this: make an attempt to create a connection with people. If there's one thing that you get out of your seduction journey, please let it be that. Don't sweat the small stuff, and don't be on a mission to deceive anyone--whether it's in your professional life or your love life. Take away something from each human being, each interaction--and give something back. I promise if you make this attempt you're going to come out a better, happier man.

tl;dr Read it god dammit.
