Slightly off topic, but what's with the thing about getting laid as a bartender? Is that just a US thing? Why are bar tenders seen as 'high value' in the US?? I always read about this from American people.

In the UK, being a bartender means absolutely nothing! - -even at some really trendy club. If anything, people see you as slightly 'below' them if you are serving them drinks! Obviously if you are a super good looking bar tender, then girls will flirt and give you their numbers etc, but it's nothing to do with the bartender element. You could just as easily be the glass collector or be a waiter or....well, anything, really!

I've never worked the bar, but my friends who were bartenders never got any sex out of it!! I wonder where the culture difference comes from! Some American posts I read seem to imply that girls throw themselves at you if you are a bartender!

Although I think you are honest about your opinion, I think your opinion is mostly bullshit. The following things I want to make my opinions on:

Generally speaking, almost everyone at a venue looks down on the guy that goes out alone, they think that something is wrong with him.

Where did you pull this from?! This is complete bullshit. 9 times out of 10 no one even notices when you're alone. When you're in a busy club people get separated all the time, I might go with friends and find myself alone with a girl who is by herself. I don't think anything badly of her. I think this is you projecting your own uncomfortable feelings of being alone and generalising it as if "everyone" thinks this. No. I've been alone and made a lot of great connections, had wonderful conversations and hooked up with sexy girls. If you tell guys this shit advice not to go out alone, they'll miss out. Some nights are shit when you go out alone, and some are the best. Just like when you go out with wingmen or friends. It's always a mix of up and down nights.

I agree with this somewhat. In daytime, girls typically reject by walking away or saying, "I have a boyfriend." In nighttime girls sometimes have their friends pushing you off, or they themselves say, "fuck off!" But the truth is this cursing can happen in the daytime too. And although the rejections are sometimes tougher at night, a lot of girls won't actually directly reject you. They will make conversation politely, and then excuses themselves to go to friends. If you are confident, then the rejections become more polite and they might even flirt a bit before leaving you. It's when you creepily stand behind a girl, and softly say some pre- rehearsed line while not being socially aware and only trying to fuck this girl, that's when they tend to get pissed I think and treat you like filth.

I've never been in a fight in a nightclub so far, and I approach heaps. I've been in some minor confrontations but nothing ever escalated to a fight. I've met a lot of big muscly guys who were really friendly and admired me for talking to girls.

Interesting perspective, but it full of false observations and oversimplifications.

If you go to a nightclub or bars similar to one with your hot girlfriend, guarantee that guys will do everything to take her home that night, even if it means starting a fight with you on the drop of a dime.

This one is pure bullshit, thus might be true in some places, but not where I am from. I have been to bars and clubs with female friends and fuck buddies etc. and they are hot ones. What I observed was that hat on the contrary no guy was brave enough to approach as long as I was close by. I never had a guy trying to pick a fight with me, on the contrary, when the place was crowded I tend to make my way by pushing them gently aside, and most of the time they apologized to me for standing in my way.

I have also been hit on by guys, befriended, got free drinks from them etc. But like I said, very very rarely, in fact just once that I am aware of, a hot female friend of mine was approached by a guy, and never ever someone tried to hit on my girl.

Excellent politically incorrect post. I have always avoided nightclubs like the plague, that's a highly competitive environment if you're not tall & good-looking, no amount of "game" will save you. I sincerely think most field reports here are made up and fake. What's your take on guys who do 'day game'?

I rarely even bother with white women. On the rare occasion that I do I always get a nasty rejection and about 5 minutes later of wtf it hits me... oh ya white women.

I've noticed especially from minorities and foreigners mainstream american white women are a waste of time. Minorities also include non main stream white guys like nerds, aspies etc.

Out of curiosity, OP, which city do you live in?

I live in Boston, and I've been going out 1-2 nights a week at least consistently for more than two years. Bars, lounges, lower key clubs, loud as hell dance clubs. This was my first time ever going out, as I'd just turned 21, and I had braced my ego for all the harsh rejections that the PUA community said was coming my way.

...never happened. I honestly don't feel like anyone's ever been rude to me at night. Girls don't to talk? They'll be sort of distant, maybe they'll go find their friends. I approach a set of girls only to have the guys they're with come from the bathroom? Some slightly tense and awkward banter, followed by "Have a good night, guys."

I felt like I had braced myself for an onslaught of negativity that never materialized. I also feel very comfortable going out by myself, as a lot of times even when I'm out with my friends we get split up and do solo approaches. Goes fine.

Manson talks a lot about demographic fit. Maybe that's an issue you're experiencing? I'm not even white.
