Everyone has been recommending this book, so i decided to read it. I read the first chapter last night, and i couldn't sleep. I just kept repeating the whole chapter.

I'm only 17, but I realized that i've been the "needy" person mark was talking about. I kept worrying about what girls would think of me, if they thought i was cute, if they liked me or not. I've dated girls i didn't even like just to feel like i'm not a loser. I've placed "getting women" into my at the entire system of values. I felt weak because i'm still a virgin. I was looking for validation from others.

I always secretly looked up into this idea of being a rich, arrogant guy who gets all the ladies. I felt like a loser for pleasing other people, and feeling inferior to the shallow, narcissistic bulshit idea of an "alpha male". It was also my biggest fear. Fear that i wasn't good enough, that all women want guys like that, that if i ever had a girlfriend, she would prefer guys like that.

I used to want to be an "alpha" , as i thought that narcissism and being superior is the way i want to live life. I don't want to be shallow anymore. Starting today, i've decided that male types are complete utter bullshit.

Fuck my lifestyle right now. I don't want to live like this forever. I want to be confident, to have my own opinions, to finally start respecting myself, set personal boundaries, and be a better man. To base my own self worth to my values and discipline. I refuse to date women until i've changed my mindsets completely.

How did you guys get rid of this toxic incel-like mindset? I know this isn't an overnight change, but i really want to change these views of mine. Please feel free to comment anything.
