So I’m a pretty social person in general, I can usually talk to anyone and I’m not very shy. Now after my breakup I am ready to meet more women. I really don’t want to do dating apps, and I see girls that are my type out in public: in the park, walking down the street, grocery stores. I’ve been trying to figure out how to approach these women, and asking them to go for coffee or something, but I just feel so nervous to do it, I guess it’s because I have the goal to ask them out rather than chat to them.

My goal is to get a relationship with a girl, I’m not really interested in “sleeping around” but at the same time I want plenty of options so that I’m not dependent on one girl. Therefore, I would like to get to a point where I feel like I can approach a girl easily and ask her out. How should I go about this? If I feel too nervous to do it?

I thought maybe sitting next to a girl on a bench and then trying to strike up a conversation then if it’s a good conversation I could lead to asking her out. But then that is so dependent on one specific scenario. What if the girl I fancy is mid walking or sat on the ground?

There is so much discourse about this topic online so please give me some advice/your experiences?

Thank you,
