30 days straight I'm going to go out of my way to socialize and learn how to be a better man.

I'm not socially inept, or awkward. I'm just average, kept to myself, and just ordinary.

I'm going to post every single day with results and things I've learned. Hopefully you will enjoy my journey and learn a thing or too with me!

Day 2:

Went to a different bar it was recommended for house music.

Sat down and got a beer, and had small talk with the bartender. The place is inviting, but dead since it's a weekday and it's cold outside. The bar had a live performer, and nice warm fires.

I was alone with another girl opposite side of the bar, so I moved and sat next to her. I wasn't directly next to her since there was a portable fire pit between us, but close enough to talk to. I opened with "Hows your night going?", and "What brings you here tonight".

She told me that she came to watch a Christmas movie and a music hall.

Admittedly I ran out of things to talk about really fucking quick cause I was tired, and since I'm new at this. After that small chat I sat there in silence, oh well no problem.

Tonight I learned that friendly conversation starters work, just be relaxed and of course friendly. I also learned that I have to work on continuing a conversation to flow organically without myself always trying to start it back up.

For the first week I'll stick to going to downtown every night, however for the 30 days I will not be going out to bars every night. I simply don't have the money for parking, or expensive ass beers every night.

Not a sucessful night, but not a failure.
