I tend to carry one when I go out socially too. It's kind of scummy to bring into a bar to avoid paying them for using their place, though.

But yeah I tend to carry something like wild turkey american honey. Strong, but pretty much everyone loves it and it's quite tolerable even at butt temperature. Adding a little bit of cinnamon to that makes it great for the holidays. Or use rumplemintz instead.

The trick is to not be shady about it. You have the right idea by using a nice, engraved flask. The rest is up to your attitude. You must play the upper class spirit enthusiast, as opposed to the blue collar alcoholic. Make it seem like the cool thing to do.

Keep in mind one of the first tips to seduction is to not get drunk, but I think it's a great idea to loosen up the people around you and even add value to the interaction.

Oh the flask is absolutely a money move. I always bring a leather one in my blazer pocket. Usually the girl I'm talking to will ask what I'm drinking (scotch or bourbon) and want to try some. Plus if you have a high tolerance like me it will save ya some money at the bar

I can't go to the bars yet so I can't say much on how I really feel about taking a flask to a bar. I use one when I'm going out since it's a lot nicer than a bottle (and like any girl, I like cute and shiny things). On the front of mine it says, "May you never go to hell but always be on your way". It's a good conversation starter for guys that want to come up to me (and I want more to do so since I'm shy). Also, I can always have a strong drink that way. Personally, I like a guy with a good flask.

a flask is a good accessory and it'll never hurt your chances unless she's a puritan. if the general vibe is "drinking" then a flask will always be a legit way to drink hard liquid alcohol. hell, even street boozin' will be granted a touch of class when taken from a flask.

ymmv on top hats, monocles and pocketwatches.

I never bring alcohol to a bar. Some people might not agree with me but I think it's in poor taste. Do you bring food to dinner at a restaurant? Also a slicker move would be to tell a girl about your favorite whiskey during the night and then on your way out ask her if she wants to come over and try some. The flask doesn't get her back to your place.

I used to carry one but I got in a fight with a bouncer and that didn't go well. I hear you on saving money though. Bars can get expensive. Just don't get sloppy bro ... Might help you with lulz with fattys but never with the quality ladies.

I usually carry it around and drink from it between bars its in poor taste to do that at a bar, unless I hate the bar, then fuck them. girls usually appreciate it when you got booze during smoke breaks outside or especially after last call. bars will kick you out or ban you if they see you though

I think that's an awesome idea. However, the logo sounds kind of tacky. I don't know. I'd probably use an old piece, with either simple designs, or no decor on it whatsoever. cool either way
