Good advice, but heed the following: Don't date any of the barmaids there; If shit goes south and things go bad between you both, then you lose any social proof the venue can give you, at least until the staff turns over. Best case, you feel awkward bringing dates there and it will show.

I think your idea is sound, but for different reasons.

You should have a regular place, probably two regular bars or clubs would be good. You should hang around there, go into all the different rooms, sit in all the seats, and become as familiar with the place as you are in your living room. Then when you approach women, it won't be quite so difficult. You are on your home turf, you have a psychological advantage, compared to being in an unfamiliar place.

Also you should know the various parts of the bar or club. You should know all the secluded booths and the quiet, dark spots, and any other places you can take a woman. I particularly like to find spots where you can't see any TV, so there are no visual distractions. And above all, you should know where "Death Row" is. That's the place, usually along the bar or along a wall, where all the single guys stand around and hold their drinks and stare at women. Do not go near Death Row.

As far as social proof, the bartenders and staff are generally friendly and you don't really need to know them, just act like you know them. Act like you know everyone. That alone will build social proof.

That sounds like a lot of work and scheming. I mean, great if your favourite nearby spot happens to have attractive and friendly girls, but going out of your way to establish a relationship with waitresses at a bar so you can bring girls there and hope one of the waitresses will be in is just...it's too much.

One cafe near me has very beautiful women working there. They know me very well, and I usually tip 30% every time.

Every date we get sent a complimentary dessert "compliments of the chef to the cute couple" after telling the waitress its our first date. The staff is wonderful and we have a nice understanding going on there.

This is great advice. I would also add that getting to know bouncers at that place that can let you cut in front of the line on busy Fri/Sat nights works like magic. I can't tell you how much girls are impressed when you can get in without waiting in line. I also simply go to the same place and make a point of getting to know them and ask them how I can get in next time cutting the line. It's usually $5-10. Remember bouncers make very little money so they need your tips.

All my first dates go like this:
Meet up at the station
Walk to my house
Go inside to 'drink tea'
Have sex

Then again I don't have a cool sports bar near my place so if you like to do that more power to you bro.
