Guys who have no problem talking to girls doesn’t mean they’re brave, it’s because they do it all the time. Maybe because they’ve been surrounded by their sisters all their life. Maybe they bloom faster than most guys. I have no problem in that department. Not because I’m brave. But because I’m used to talk to random people since I was a kid. Like my sister’s friends always come over to our house and I banter with them all the time. Practice makes perfect.

It's ok to feel fear! We all do, it's that feeling of adrenaline pumping through your veins, your heart starts racing, I once approached a girl I was so nervous I was shaking after! Learn to enjoy that feeling, do it often enough you'll feel more comfortable. Also don't expect every interaction/approach to lead to sex, treat her with respect be cordial, and maybe you'll end up friends or together, you never know shoot your shot

I'm pretty good at talking to anyone, that used to be far from the case and I have been where you are now. What changed? I stopped trying to think of what to say, that is still the case today.

I don't know any more than you do about what to say when approaching someone, I just go in there saying something, whatever comes to mind when I'm there. Something will come to mind, particularly when I've already put myself in a situation where it would be more awkward to not say anything, when anything is better than nothing.

Does that sometimes equate to saying some weird shit? Yes, but if anything it more often than not leads to a more interesting conversation, improvised at every turn and going down an interesting path. Does it have to be original? No, I often just start with the plainest of questions about who they are, where they're from, who they know and so on. It can take an interesting turn later or perhaps there's something interesting in the reply that makes something more interesting come to my mind.

Bottom line is to not overthink it, well, to almost not think at all. Throw yourself into it and try to swim. You'll know what to say when the time comes. I know it's hard to trust that right now, but to place trust in yourself is exactly what you need to do. This is how social confidence grows.

You're not a coward, you're just massively self-absorbed. You're so worried about what others might think of you that you can't even really see others. Imagine if everyone was like that (most people are to various degrees), isn't it absurd to worry about how others see you if they're so worried about the same regarding themselves that they barely even see you anyways? Just take a walk out in public anywhere and look around you at how many people even notice you exist, hardly anyone because they're focused on themselves.

Fuck, some people are trying their hardest to get as much attention as possible from others, just look at how hard that is for them. There you are considering doing some mundane conversing and worry anyone will look at you weirdly for it, that's just absurd if you ask me.

I was super impressed with the guy cuz they were talking for a while and I was wondering what the hell were they talking about.

I felt this. I don't know how people can have these long convos. I've done it before, but it seems to only happen on very rare occasions. Maybe when I luck out and hit on a very talkative girl who maybe likes me. But nearly every other time she's not really giving me anything and it feels impossible to keep trying to think of things to say. I tried doing cold reads and making statements too but it didn't seem to be an improvement

You are not a coward by freezing in a situation that you have very little experience with and bears unmanagable risk, it's a natural reaction of our body and mind. Then you can think of triggering emotions in your conversations, coming closer and breaking touch barriers one by one. Learn, learn, learn. And practice what you learnt. No one gets a girl from the point with 0 seduction experience and knowledge.

You can go to her and say hey i see you are enjoying yourself, you like the music? , And if yes or no just say what kind music you like, and say lets play it, and put that banger on and dance with her. Its a house party so they wont mind you pick a song or two.

Other is comment on her outfit. I like your sweater but why you wearing those socks (compliment and playful negative comment).

Another is hey what you drinking? This keg they offer kind of suck but we gotta do it for the buzz right? Or if she says she drinking this and that you say heyy i like it, i add a dash of lime and it gets much better.

Its all surface level stuff. Just get your foot inside the door.

Can you dance? Have fun and dance with her. Then vibe and talk about situational stuff.. eg a funny thing that happened at the party, her dancing, what she's wearing, the current song. Talk directly in her ear if the music is loud. Then if she seems receptive, relocate her to a more comfortable area to vibe more and talk about mutual friends at the party etc, and build rapport

Get habitual to small things and build overtime
