I've been talking about this a lot lately and I've noticed that almost everyone has had the same experience. Why is it that when someone is more or less cold to someone or doesn't pay that much attention, he/she is suddenly interesting and attractive? I was talking to a friend about this and she's quite annoyed by the fact that she finds someone interesting because overall he's a pretty unempathetic guy who doesn't care what others think. Not in the sense of "I don't give a shit", more in the sense of "I don't think about others". He's not her type, but suddenly she wants him because he doesn't pay attention to her. It was the same on my last date. Because she was so unresponsive and difficult to work with, I put in way more work than I should have and I ignored every other option just to get through her. Or how girls are much more into me when I'm not interested in them. Stories like this always end up being toxic and I don't really know why a negative thing can push even guys and girls who normally don't like that.
