A thought occurred to me a few days ago. I've been thinking about it a lot lately. It's something that gets brought up in relationships pretty frequently.

Anyway, it goes something like this: If you don't like yourself, then you sure as hell aren't going to be able to sell yourself to all of the people you meet.

If you're full of self loathing and you hate your image and you wish you were different, then you need to fix that problem before you start focusing on other people.

All of the people who have success stories on seddit are successful because they truly believe that they are awesome. It's all about confidence really, and people say that over and over again. But you can't have confidence unless you first believe in what you're saying or how you're acting.

If any of you guys are having confidence issues, I'd try things like hitting the gym and getting clothes that make you feel like you actually look good. Get lots of sleep. Eat right. Drink water. You can't really sell yourself until you like the person you are.

I hope this helps some people, because I think understanding this has helped me a lot.
