The article makes a very important point:

"With a condom, your chance of catching HIV from vaginal sex falls effectively to zero."

Most of the dangers regarding HIV in the article are basically eliminated with consistent condom usage. If you're having unprotected sex with random women, there's something wrong. Remember, even if your chances of HIV may be on the slim side, rates of Chlamydia hovers around 50%, and Genital Herpes is around 15% in some areas.

Think with your big head and wrap it up.

... Just came across this one. Jesse Charger seems quite scientific in his approach to game (hence the name of his blog, I guess), which I like, being a scientist myself.

Bothers me somewhat that he omitted references to this one, though, given the subject of HIV and STDs.

TIL that std transfer isn't 100% (I had heard it before, but according to the article it can be from 1/300 to 1/10, and I never thought the chances were that low, from a single encounter).

Getting HIV from unprotected sex should probably be pretty far down your list of worries. Just don't do it with junkie hookers or in sub-Saharan Africa and you'll be fine in that regard.
