When you work a full time job to pay the bills so he can "work on his novel" for four years.

When you get a full-time job instead of finishing your education, so that he can finish his education, because "when I graduate, babe, my earning potential is so much higher so you'll be able to stay home".

When he's emotionally messed up and you spend years being his therapist, and then when he heals enough to be a good partner, he goes and finds someone who he hasn't damaged and starts a relationship with her.

When you work for free to help him build his business but your name isn't on any of it.

When you pay all the bills so he can save up for a new car.

Teaching him how to do laundry, clean, or cook.

Teaching him how to properly dress and put together a nice looking outfit.

Teaching him how to have a skincare routine, that he needs to wear sunscreen so he won't age like a raisin, and to stop using 3 in 1 shampoo products.

Always planning everything because he doesn't know how or "isn't a planner".

Being his therapist.

Finding a job for him, fixing up his resume etc.

Teaching him time management skills.

Dating an alcoholic or drug addict because it's a disease and you need to be understanding, dontcha know

Forgiving him for affair after affair

Doing all the planning for dates. All of it.

Buying him stuff at Christmas and birthdays, even when he never makes an effort for you.

Paying for dates when he never pays for them

Accepting to see them only when it's convenient for them (A POSSIBLE exception MIGHT be made if they have a VERY busy job such as doctor or lawyer, but remember... if they wanted to, they would!)

Sex without solid, firm commitment.

Taking on all the planning of a wedding

Having kids with someone who either has a drinking/drug/gambling/anger/cheating problem, or can't/refuses to get a decent job, or if you're the only one working full time, refuses to do at least 75% of the housework/laundry/cooking/yardwork/gardening/car maintenance, or if you both work full time, refuses to do his fair share of these things, and says it's 'your job'.

Having kids with someone who has a porn use problem or a chronic video games overuse problem.

Continuing to have sex with someone who is selfish in bed and doesn't put in effort to make you happy, and just stonewalls you when you try to talk about it, or refuses to try things that would make you happy.
