I saw a post on TIL that showed as having been removed after I clicked on it. The topic of the post was a retraction/correction of the research that says that men divorce their sick wives at a much higher rate than women divorcing their sick husband's. The little red box said it had been removed for being "misleading".

It just fucking floors me how determined people are to vilify men, coming to the conversation with receipts that disprove their beloved talking points will get you flamed in the comments by willfully ignorant people, your post deleted, and your account banned from subs that shouldn't have any kind of bias.

Anyways. I will have to go find the new research later, but I thought you guys might like to know that the talking point about men being predisposed to abandoning their sick wives has been disproven.

Any other guys here who were abandoned by their wives for health related reasons?
