Umm I would advice you NOT to date cops. Most are abusive narcissist and if ANYTHING ever happens you better believe his cop buddies will cover up for him. I just think it’s a bad idea do date a cop. I also find it uneasy to be around a man who has access to a gun 24/7.

Also the way this guy sounds he sounds too perfect. Too perfect is indication of fake. I would proceed with extreme caution. I've had guys play that game on me because they enjoy being the perfect Prince and sweeping you off your feet and then at some point they're done. And everything goes to hell in a handbasket.

A roommate of mine dated a cop and although he was crazy about her and spoiled her. But he lied about having a vasectomy, she wanted kids and basically wasted time being with him until he came out and told her 2.5 years into the relationship. He said that if she knew she wouldn't have dated him DUH...

Also, he was a racist. They went to see The Butler and when they came back he was fuming..saying that the movie was all about hating white people and it was fucked up.. Literally got in my face about how white privilege is fake..And he legit believed that it was right to racially profile people, because "he was protecting himself"...

Stay away from cops. Vet them thoroughly!!!

Hmm I don’t date them at all but as you already are, i would just advise you to stay vigilant and be prepared to kick him out at the drop of a hat.

I would say this: don't. I have dated a few cops they always have unresolved issues related to job trauma and they always either having emotional expression stuff either too much or too little or substance abuse struggles.

Something to remember about cops: They’re used to having power over people. Sometimes they have trouble accepting noncompliance when they’re off-duty.
