Don’t let a guy fool you into thinking he’s a HVM.

I went out on amazing date with a guy on Friday night. He booked reservations and took me to the best restaurant in our city. He asked me my favorite color (red), then brought me flowers and fine jewelry of the same color. He was a complete gentleman. The next day, we made plans for dinner on Monday night. He was supposed to get there around 6:30.

When 7 pm rolls around, I say well where is this idiot? I text him and get an auto response that he’s driving. I call and he tells me he won’t get to dinner until 8 PM. He claims that we are both “busy professionals” and “time is fluid.” Besides, he said “his ex-wife took forever picking up his kid.”

So, sisters. I said nothing. Instantly hung up the phone. Blocked him. Now, I’m taking a bubble bath with a mud mask on. Ignoring my 36 missed texts I have from other men. Don’t let a man clown you into thinking he’s a HVM on the first date. Sometimes they do it to make you let your guard down and accept shit behavior!
