They’ve been together for one year and just had a baby. So she got pregnant with 2 months of their relationship? And now she’s disappointed about the red flags? I’m not saying this to shame her but to warn y’all. Do not have a baby with a man you just met. Ever. You will pay the price almost every single time. I was with my ex husband (who had so many red flags I just didn’t realize) for years and I stayed because he was rich and he still was a scrub when we had kids. They dont change. 9 more years y’all. Then he’s out of my life, and won’t be able to control me because the girls will be 18.

There just have to be signs that the man was like this before the pregnancy. I just can’t imagine giving birth and finding out the father of my child is that much of an asshole. I wish only the best for this woman and her baby.

There are always signs, but not every person can detect them. That takes time, experience, and a radar for b.s.

She didn't give herself enough TIME to even see the signs. According to her timeline of events, she was already pregnant at the two-month mark, which I think is the earliest you should even start thinking about sleeping with a guy at some point in the future with protection, of course. At least it sounds like her head is on a little bit straighter after all this, just sucks that a whole other human had to be brought into the lesson.

That's the messed up part. Honestly most times these women are posting these horrible stories is that they know it's wrong but are still in too bad of a mental space to break up. If it were me I'd probably post it and put how I DUMPED him for behaving this way. She just wants to be told what she wants to hear, how its "normal" and "things will get better with communication "

Started dating him as a teenager, got pregnant very early on the in the relationship, and has "traditional" parents that are encouraging her to stay with him. Lets have some empathy for this young girl rather than shaming her.

I know mistakes happen. This is why condoms are so important
20 years old is way too young to have a child. The frontal lobe of the brain isn’t even fully developed until age 25. Essentially at that age, it’s children having children.
It’s rare for the outcome to be a good one when families start out so young
