I told my ex that we had a lot of communication gaps (always because of him, he'd never call or text) and that it's unacceptable in relationships. Told him to clean up his act and behave properly.

His reply was, " if you leave me because of such a stupid reason, I swear I'll literally kill you." He thought threatening me showed how serious he was and how much he loved me. LOL

A reminder, ladies!! No matter how much he claims to love you (this one wanted to marry me and would talk about it all the time), if he doesn't act right, you shouldn't be wasting your time on him. Dating a man-child and training him to treat you right will lead you nowhere. And threats are not cute, no matter how jokingly he said it.
