There should NO difference in the level of respect and care between equal partners whether in public or private. If your man only wants to love or be loved in private, then he doesn't want the world to know he's with you. The 'babying' of grown men is especially sickly. My current partner routinely embarrasses his 'friends' (who are dropping off because of this) by being the one to cook and clean up when we have people over, all while refilling my drink and while I do the difficult task of hostessing by maintaining conversation and lively spirit with guests. 🤷‍♀️
