I've had countless arguments on this where the feminist will say "nu uh that's based on race because intersectionality. It's really black men that are suffering and every other man is privileged".

Point out that it's actually across the board and they'll typically either run away or try to claim it's really based on poverty or some other excuse.

In other countries, this is a case as well, but I don't know the extent of it.

I'd like to see how it varies between type of crime as well.

I'm also wondering if this takes into account whether women are given lesser charges/more lenient plea deals. For example, if a woman is more likely to be charged with a lesser crime in a situation where a man would be charged with rape, then there would be a huge bias missed if you just looked at sentencing relative to charges.

Ignoring this fact is at best disadvantageous and at worst will be seen by anyone you're arguing with as dishonest and reason to stop believing anything you say.

Besides, you can use this fact to your favor: "Women of all races get shorter sentences than even white men, who are the shortest-sentenced male demographic."
