I make good money but after a bare bones childhood I live very, very frugally. Most of the shit we accumulate is completely unnecessary and pointless so I don't have it. This is the attitude I have around women and, in their eyes, I'm struggling which is what I want them to think. It's a good way to show their true colors.

I also don't feed into the mystic spiritual hocus pocus that so many women, especially around here, feed into. I'll openly make fun of them for it. It's a good way to weed out the idiots and gold diggers.

Similar here, over 100k $ paid house, car motorcycle, no debt and going strong. After a lifetime of observation and easy women I’ll be leaving my estate to the humane society. Holy shit, I've looked into trying to escape out west to work on the rigs for years now (Alberta), but have never gotten any hits and have heard nothing but negative things about the economic climate in regards to working in the fields. Pardon my ignorance if your career does not pertain to this at all, but do you have a university degree for what you do, or did you start out working on the rigs and work your way up?

Will be doing this myself soon too. Married with 3 step kids. Things were good untill about 2 months ago. I got a job working a night shift to provide more money, i work on average 18 days before i get a day off. And she goes and starts turning to her exs for advice and everytime she needs something. I dont do anything for the family aparently according to her. This last weekend we had plans for Saturday. 2 kids were at their grandparents and the other was at his dads (2 baby daddys) after a stint of 23 days working i was finally off for Thanksgiving untill monday. I rested on Thanksgiving and tried to recoup. Well she wanted to go out on the town Thanksgiving night (wtf seriously?) I said i would like to rest through the night and not go out into the chaos, that we have Saturday to go out. Well i wake up friday morning to the single kid. Aparently his dad needed to go shopping so our plans were all now cancelled for the weekend. She then proceeds to get upset when i lounge around all weekend and do my own thing. As soon as i get enough money stashed back i will be filing for divorce.

I'm a junior engineer, currently being paid okay for age/experience but not good for the average person. I save as much as I can, and will finish my 4 year contract in just under two years.

For the most part, nobody gives me anything to do at work. I ask every day, but nothing. I don't wanna leave because I'm not qualified for anything else and don't have another job lined up, also want the free training which is worth a lot. It's killing my slowly though, hours doing nothing.

By my calculations, I'll be able to buy a modest home for myself in 11 years outright (don't wanna get a mortgage), how should I go about making my earnings?

All this free time has sort of activated my creativity and desire to get a side hustle. I only invest in ETFS and don't have capital to day trade. I've had an idea though.

We pay monthly for gym memberships, entertain platforms etc. How often do we drink coffee from a store a week? 3 maybe four times I'd guess for inner city professionals or students. What if you had a subscription service for a coffee store, a fixed price for say 4 coffees a week, averaging the price down. But it doesn't stop there, rather than it being a standard shop anyone can enter, it's exclusive to members and companions, and the interior is designed very well creating a relaxation or work space. Please pick this apart because is seriously think it could fly
