I watched the programme when it aired and thought she was a little pointless to have on the show. They said she was a young business woman, they failed to mention it was just a fashion blog.

It's not fair because I can't avoid tax like the big corporations

We can't boycott anything because I like to have my lunch break in starbucks and use their wi-fi.

An economist, of all people, should understand that TV shows are in the business of making money. Having a 25 year old female on the show will certainly draw more viewers.

This is not a gender issue as much as an issue of modern shallow, dumbed down culture. A guest who specializes in simple, easy to understand, things will always be chosen over someone who is intelligent but who's vast amount of knowledge challenges viewers.

Gender should be no object in such a debate. If they were talking about the moon, I would expect an astronomer or someone experienced in astronomy to talk about it. If they were talking about a new illness, I would expect someone who studies virology, biology, medicine or some other field that can contribute to the discussion (such as a sociologist to discuss its societal impact).

I don't watch BBC, and this gives me another reason not too. If their product isn't quality, I will turn to another that is.

Very happy this man spoke up. Society in general (most especially for men) if men spoke up more.

Very impressed by Ms. Dinsey's comments. She was very honest, certainly to the chagrin of the BBC employees that are responsible for this.
