One of my wife's former girlfriend went out, ended up going to a guy's place. They started getting in the mood, got naked and then she told him she just wanted to spend the night at his place cuddling, nothing more... The dude asked her to leave and got her a taxi. The next day she was ready to go to the police and claim the guy had tried to force himself (all he did while they were both naked in his bed was kiss her, she was clear on that, he did not restrain her). My point is women have now found a way to play victims. Not all women. But some will.

The same way some women were happy to throw themselves at you at companies events. Now they found a shortcut. Pose as a victim, get the sympathy and roll with it.

Pandering for votes and money. They vote more and have more voters. There's also in-group bias. Lastly, they are a target market that is the most "consumerist" and the most susceptible to marketing. If you're a politician or selling something, why WOULDN'T you pander to them?

To win the women’s vote. Women tend to vote on policies advantaging them, were men tend to vote on things like the economy which they feel benefit them without being a sex specific advantage. Similarly, men pay more taxes, so they think about the money they will have to part with, where women think more about the money they are promised.
Identity politics is growing and feminism is a part that that. As more people come to believe it’s appropriate to discriminate in favor of people based on demographic characteristics in general, they will buy into discrimination favoring women.

Same reason it has always been tolerated: it appeals women and women have always had a great deal of power and influence over men, culture and society. Most men just aren't going to risk getting cancelled or delegitimized to stand up to sexist women, and chauvinistic women aren't going to call out other sexist women either. It's just a lack of accountability and a systematic desire to please and appease women.

Feminist activists are very astute politicians. Those gender studies activists have been graduating universities for years, and a lot of them have dedicated their lives towards advancing a Feminist agenda. They have achieved a lot. As of today, the Feminist lobby in the Western world controls education from pre school to PhD level, the major movie studios in Hollywood, most of the mainstream media, most of social media, and several political parties (including the Democrats in the USA).

I am not convinced Feminists have become more radical. I think as the Feminist lobby has gained power, their demands have become greater. This happens with any political group that gains power. They are very clever at appealing to 'soft Feminists' and regular women, by pointing out the difficulties in their lives, and by silencing discussion of the corresponding difficulties in mens' lives.

The most interesting development lately is that the US election is really showing that their propaganda efforts are very much not working on a lot of men, particularly young men.

It's not being challenged and men at the top are unaffected by its' bile.

It has caught hold of institutions like schools and universities, MSM, HR etc. It's actually fashionable today to be anti-male, it sells well and women love it. Why wouldn't they love female-only scholarships, grants, tax break for their businesses, Free conversion courses in uni despite being the majority of students.

They set up jobs for themselves to train men how to be yes-men, like in Australia. They also use federal funds to teach boys how bad they are, and girls love it.

But it's tolerated because no one is challenging it and because it can damage your career to question its' bile, especially if you are a politician, teacher, professor, fellow, male HR agent etc.

The modern feminist movement, or 'womens liberation movement', was financed and effectively created by the Ford Foundation in the 1950s and 60s. The Ford Foundation continues to be the main source of money and power behind the movement and the reason that it has not and likely will not be stopped. It is also the reason that so many women will say they support women's rights, but disagree with so many things the feminist movement does and stands for. It isn't women running it and it isn't for the benefit of women. Its purpose is to cause division and harm, the same as all the other political movements the Ford Foundation funds. If you read any of the books written by the women considered to be leaders of the feminist movement they all contain the same mission statement, and it goes like this, "the purpose of the women's movement is to bring about the destruction of white, European males, capitalism, and the Christian Church." It is in book after book, by many different prominent feminists. And the same statement, word for word, is in books by black civil rights leaders, gay rights leaders, and trans rights leaders. All are funded by the Ford Foundation. All are being used to achieve the same goals. Notice that mission statement says not one word about equal rights.
