I highly, highly recommend Foucault's A History of Sexuality.

It's a work very interested in how ideology affects the way people perceive the world to be.

I sorta agree. Most of the time I think the idea that BPers have nothing in common except to ridicule RP to be really... fake. IMO, its just laziness in debate and inability to commit to offering a counter-opinion rather than there not being a set of beliefs generally common to BPers. Because there in fact are.

On TBP sub, there are unwritten, but very strict and coherent set of ideas from member to member that seems to resemble a more extreme version of 2XC to even SRS feminism. Anything I see posted that doesn't jive with that, even if it states it doesn't support RP... unanimously gets "BP" outpouring of replies and downvotes. Even when they are doing nothing except ridiculing TRP, they do have a unique set of morals and premises that aren't really that popular or mainstream but universally accepted and understood on TBP(and dismissed by TRP). BP members on PPD too generally find themselves agreeing. There's usually one BP position that stays intact and can be continued by another member flawlessly.

In the same way, the RP sub's members don't have everything common to each other too, but most of it is common. I constantly see debates where BP complains that TRP's ideas all differ member to member. Some guys hate Roosh and some don't. Some don't own up to the rampant blatant misogyny on their sub and some do. There was a thread on hypergamy in here a while back where all the mods and ECs said there is no hypergamy in men while a majority of RPers contradicted them and said there was. In the dread game thread, no one was willing to own up to the MMSL definition of dread-game. SoftHarem held down a woman and raped her, but most RPers insist that LMR overcoming is freezeout or whatever.

Both sides are equally homogeneous and equally varied in between themselves. The RP required reading is entirely full of prominent bloggers/users in their very minute sphere of opinion. And because its so small they generally agree. But there are people who disagree with roosh and heartiste and MMSL.

The counterpart to RP is also full of a largely agreed upon ideas that are politically accepted by feminism, if not tracable to select authors. And because its larger group, its full of much more disagreement, but there are still prominent voices and widely agreed upon ideas. Its just disingenuous to say there aren't sources we can't pull together to offer a coherent set of ideas rather than just a boring game where we guess at TRP ideas and attack it relentlessly and even TRP questions to us are 99% just based on TRP.

That's boring.

Judith Butler's Gender Trouble is (imo) by far the most important work on gender and sexuality in the recent past. Also, it's pretty much the polar opposite of TRP (and also of what TRP thinks is feminism).

It's not exactly like the post you mentioned, but if anything should be required reading it should be Gender Trouble.

Not sure why you think adding that article will help TRP'ers in understanding, it's pretty off because it sets the narrative of what BP'ers want to believe. It sounds good, therefore it must be true.

You're starting with the assumption that relationships only work when the partners see each other as equal. The notion that relationships fail when there is a power imbalance is idealistic fantasy; there was even an article submitted in PPD that showed that relationships without power imbalances were the quickest to fail. And then it launches into the nonsense trope of the "Woman Haters" (aka RP'ers) only being able to pull it off with broken women. So many fallacies in one paragraph.

I suppose you could include it as a means of demonstrating how BP'ers think. It doesn't do much to clear confusion or misunderstanding.

Ah, the old holier than thou moderate position. The Red Pill actually does understand the other side. Many of us have been blue pilled and were taught that girls were good caring souls, but of course that changed through experience and science. Be decisive for once in your life OP. The reason the Red Pill has required reading is because we actually have evidence to support are positions. The blue pill can only provide mockery and sarcasm and of course feelings.
