We have one thread about this and that is the only thread needed to discuss this area of controversy. The hysteria sweeping across the internet heralding this deranged young man as the poster boy for misogyny and everything wrong with the manosphere is misguided, sickening and unwelcome vitriol. Furthermore, I will not see this subreddit fill up with spam fixated on this one shooting because the young man in question expressed misogynistic beliefs.

People, predominantly feminists, self-proclaimed "social justice warriors" and woman's rights interest groups, are spinning this tragedy as a way to attack the manosphere and highlight it as an example of what is wrong with the manosphere, that somehow the manosphere is to blame and should take responsibility for the actions of one extremely unstable young man. This is a bigoted and sweeping belief that bears no merit. These are the same types of ignorant misinformed people who have always taken issue with the manosphere and wish to rather sickeningly and unhumanely, capitalize on the negative energy of this tragedy to vilify the manosphere as a source of misogyny that needs censure rather than a source of masculine improvement which is to be heralded.

This is not only conceited and misinformed, but wholly disingenuous folly. As such, any new threads buying into the hysteria in relation to the shooting/Mr. Rodgers will have their threads removed and the submitter will be banned for spamming the sub. If you are so immovably fixated on discussing the controversy then you can do so at the thread we have designated for such discussion, the hyperlink at the beginning of this thread. If you have questions or contributions to make, do so in that thread. You do not need a fresh thread for every slight nuance of thought you may have on the incident.

Do not use this thread as a place to discuss the incident either, use the designated thread.

Consider this a warning, ignore it and you will find yourself in contempt of the moderators and banned from participating here. Do not be swept up by the irrationalism of hysteria but quite respectfully discuss the incident analytically and respectfully within the designated thread.
