Yes! You can convey this to her by passing her nagging shit tests.

Women don't communicate like men. They communicate using emotion, while men communicate using logic. This is not to say women do not have the capacity to be logical—of course they do. But you need to be good at understanding the subtext of her nagging, which is an emotional approach she takes to solving some problem. When you try to bring logic to an emotional situation like this you end up solving the wrong problem, you solve the surface problem. You do the dishes, you take out the trash, whatever it is she's nagging you to do. The real problem is hidden somewhere in the subtext of what she is nagging you about. This is why it doesn't stop even when you comply. You're complying to the wrong thing!

So what is the problem? Well, that's on you to figure out. My guess is, without being in your shoes, is that the nagging is her way of telling you to stop being such a pussy and be the type of leader she thinks you knows you can be. How are you not leading your family? While she may be asking you to take out the goddamn trash, what she really means is take care of the house without me needing to ask you to. How are you failing to live up to your own standards? See, you can either choose to be put off by her nagging, wishing, no begging for it to go away like you are now, or you can choose to see her nagging as gift that helps you calibrate your own progress in becoming a man of high value.

Sound like your wife has standards. When you got married she thought you were someone that could meet those standards. You come across a being butthurt that she won't lower her standards to make your life easier.

OK here's my take. You are way to screwed up to fix this issue off the get go. You aren't owning your shit. Your wife clearly doesn't have a sense that her vagina is replaceable with a younger better looking package the instant you become fatigued with her attitude. You come here asking how to communicate a simple reality. If you want to know the answer. The communication is quite simple.

"If you want something from me, ask nicely, then you *might* get it. If you nag I'll make it a point not to do it."

Then ignore all of her responses to this statement like she slipped into a parallel dimension and disappered.

And then stick by it.

Let her nag for 20-30 minutes a day. Listen carefully to her during this time. Don't argue. Don't respond except to nod your head and acknowledge her concerns. Preferably you can agree and now and then nod your head with a comment like: that sucks dear.

If she wants to use this time to become critical of you then cut it short. Don't get drawn into a fight, just get up and tell her you have to x, y or z.

Over time you can teach her appropriate behavior and that nagging will not get her what she wants.

I will give an example. My wife was "nagging" me to get some meds from the pharmacy and I forgot. At exactly 10 minutes before 9 she whined: You didn't get the scripts. She grabbed her cell phone and started to call to see if they were open and "ordered"me to wait.

I told her I didn't have time and was out the door like a shot. I had to drive like a bat out of hell but the pharmacist handed me the bag at exactly the time the clock struck 9 and congratulated me on my timing as she slammed the window shut.

I returned home and calmly put the bag in the counter. Not a word was said but later my older son told me in an private: Dad, that was alpha as Hell getting that done like that. Mom was really impressed.

I told him: don't be fooled- alpha would have been to get it done without mommy reminding me.
