Social circles are only luck based if you don't have high social status. If you have high social status, people will naturally seek you out. Guys achieve this by being the social butterfly, being charismatic, or showcasing a valuable skill in a natural way. There's also talking to people and building familiarity, but that kind of strategy rewards those with high social energies, where extroverts shine. If you're an introvert, you can try it out, but you'd run out of social battery (speaking from experience) unless your efforts lead to a deep 1-on-1 conversation and what not.

No matter what strategy you try, you essentially have to play a numbers game. Cold approach and daygame you need to play a really high numbers game cuz those strategies result in rejection a lot (so really, a good metric here is can you start and hold a good conversation with strangers? This way you know you haven't done anything wrong even when they reject you). You can try both social circles and cold approach, as well as other dating strategies i.e online dating, dating events, etc. You can also take your current lifestyle, and see how you can fit dating strategies into it as well so you're still living your lifestyle while giving dating the attention when opportunities do show up.

How do I say this bluntly?

I used to doubt cold approach. I spent two years trying it , and I was still a virgin just running around giving compliments .

There is NOTHING more powerful and efficient than cold approach, especially in public places. I am touring Asia at the moment: I hooked up with 3 women in Thailand, 4 on Bali, and 2 in Japan, where I have been for 5 days. In Melbourne I hooked up with 8 new women in a month .

I am not tall, I have crooked front teeth, not the best looking guy either . It's all social skills and practice.

A few things that worked for me:

Ditch the compliment as an opener. Just completely avoid it. Unless you are super good looking or famous , it doesn't make sense . Why would she give you a chance off the bat if you are not her usual type?
Which leads to the second point: be progressive in everything that you do . Start as a stranger, build trust , use subconscious triggers to get her to want to impress or please you, then switch up and sexualize.

Da mesma forma como uma pessoa saí e dedica seu tempo para ir a academia, ou para praticar algum instrumento musica, você também precisa sair com o intuito apenas para abordar, e isso que dizer, ir em um local neutro onde você pode abordar sem compromisso para desenvolver suas habilidades, principalmente se você for um inciante.

You don’t need to go out with the goal of approaching women, because it should happen naturally during the day, in real-life situations. You go to a store, you see a woman, you have a chance to talk, so go talk.

You don’t need to give the impression that you do this regularly. It just happened that she was there, and because you’re a social, talkative guy, you started a conversation. It’s perfectly normal and very easy if you create a context to talk to her. Without context, it comes off as cringe, and gives off that “player” vibe. Pretty sure that’s the last thing you want to project.

For example, I saw a lady outside the grocery store who was ready to enter. At the entrance, deliberately I put my shopping cart diagonally to block her way, but then I said, "Oops, sorry!" pretending it was by mistake. About a minute later, I saw her looking at the fruits. I went near her, and I already had a context to talk about, when I was near her she was looking at me for a second but I told her: "No worries, my cart's over there, I won't block your way... haha... I see you have an orange, if I'll take an apple, we can make a fruit salad ..... bla bla bla " that's the method I'm talking about, it is very easy.

I haven't done too much approaching and have no "conversion" to speak of. I have similar concerns but I think cold approach may be more of a mental exercise and practice than anything else, it's about becoming being able to tolerate failure and rejection

I think cold approach is stupid and is touted too much on here as the answer to all questions. Really we need more guys to resist the propaganda of the cold approach mob

You are 1000% correct. Cold approaching gets you in trouble most of the time.
