Considering the various pieces of (scientific) evidence reporting that confidence is the number one trait women consider when deciding if a man is attractive to them a lot of seduction advice is about becoming confident. Usually this advice is devided in two categories: inner game (psychological) and outer game, which I like to call 'out-of-game', i.e. working out, diving into hobbies, and of course approaching women.

Given the assumption that confidence or 'being alpha' is a mindset (as noted by many game authors), it is obvious how inner game, such as affirmations lead to attaining this confidence. It is also obvious how outer game techniques such as improving body language lead to confidence, for example see the TED talk by Amy Cuddy.

However, it is less obvious is how the other parts of outer game, such as studying, reading and improving yourself in other external areas that could be categorised under the label 'working hard' lead to improved internal confidence. I think the word that explains it all in this regard is entitlement.

As the saying goes: "the easiest way to demonstrate high value is to actually be of high value". Being of high value means that you add a lot of value to other people's lives. If you work hard on yourself, for example by reading a lot and studying hard, you will actually improve your value to other people. More importantly, you will improve your value relative to your past self. Where before you didn't have much to show for, after 'working hard' / improving your lifestyle you can now look at the progress you've made and you have proof of what you're worth. Because of this you will feel entitled to deserve what you want.

Your internal confidence will thus be derived from this entitlement.
