I get how people say, "Don't waste your time just reading stuff" You have to balance your "game time" appropriately. Sometimes what I do is pick up a book and read a lil before going out. It HELPS motivate me to socialize with people and talk to girls.

I'm also reading Models by Mark Manson, and i highly recommend it, as it covers a lot of important inner game stuff, while also covering outer game.

One of the important points of the book, is that you have to go out too, in order to improve. You shouldn't just read the book and expect it to solve all your issues. A lot of people tend to intellectualize, meaning that you keep reading books and advice as an excuse to avoid going out and actually apply the things that you have read.

My point is, that you shouldn't expect books to be some kind of magic solution to your problems with women, but reading the books and actually USING some of the stuff they teach you is a really good idea.

"Models" by Mark Manson was really good stuff. I also just started "How to Win Friends and Influence People", and it seems to be some solid stuff. "No More Mr. Nice Guy" is also a good one, but makes me feel like I'm in a therapists office.

Minimal Game by Aaron Sleazy. A critic of the community similar in view to Mark Manson. He breaks down the seduction process for the average guy who isn't looking to get laid like a rockstar but is okay with 5-10 different woman a year.

From his perspective it basically comes down to your foundations and asking girls on dates. Too basic for the aspiring casanova but the different perspective is worth looking into.

Its a short and easy read, definitely worth the 10$ i spent on it.

"Double Your Dating" by Michael DeAngelo. First book I ever read, absolute game changer.

I can confidently say that this book and "The Charisma Myth" by Olivia Fox Cabane (Not about girls, just being a better person- AKA what seduction is REALLY all about) totally changed how I view myself, and how I view others.

You can't learn an Art by reading but only by doing and making mistakes.

Try learning to paint the Mona Lisa by reading a book lately? Try learning to pickup a women by reading a book lately? Try learning to fuck a women by reading a book lately?

You have made mistakes but the wrong kind of mistakes. Because you haven't done anything but read anything.

The most common human fallacy is to find patterns in the random world. Trying to find a method of patterns in the random world of women is futile.

All you can ever do and will do is ask her out and if she likes you for you, she will go out with you or not. Make it fast as possible. Don't waste time with Mystery Method Attraction building sham. Because you are just wasting time with women who could be interested in you.

We love to fixate on the immediate, and the paralysing aversion to losing something he hasn’t even got yet will likely keep Walt alone for some time. As the years roll by, he will have to either defeat his tragedy, or succumb to it.

Because here’s the rub. You can make a habit of avoiding potential loss. Most of us get excruciatingly good at this. But one day, there will be a tragedy you can’t dodge. The gap between what you could have been, and what you have become.
