Generally if you tell a girl you don't know she is hot and "yours," yeah that could be considered creepy.

It sounds like maybe you just came across as too forward in this one instance, and aren't necessarily creepy as a rule.

Were you talking about the "hot girl" as if she wasn't there? If I were her, I would feel disrespected and objectified. Following up with "She's mine"? More objectification. She doesn't even know you and you're trying to claim her.

They probably heard you say that on Facetime, but her friend didn't feel the same about you so they pretended they didn't hear you in order to spare your feelings. Probably hoping you wouldn't bring it up again.

Next, do you bring it up again by texting you friend. They decide to pretend she has a boyfriend to get you off her back. Again, probably trying to spare your feelings.

Even after you heard she has a boyfriend, you still said you wanted to meet her, showing you don't have respect for her "boyfriend" and aren't picking up on any of these hints. That's when your friend called you creepy.

Creepy, because that's the nicest way to say "you should really back off. She's not interested." Something they've been trying to hint at.

And no.. you shouldn't interfere with someone who has a boo.

Here's what's creepy about this, you know nothing about this girl, you clearly just want something to do with her cause she's hot. That's fine to feel that way, but behavior wise, you have to play it cool.

Yes, this whole interaction fit the Urban Dictionary definition of 'creepy':

adj. An overused slang term for sexually inappropriate or perverted or for attempting to derive sexual gratification through dishonorable means. Unfortunately, the word has become an abused favorite of melodramatic people who try hard to use the word wherever possible, to the point of rendering the word almost meaningless.

"inappropriate or perverted": you entirely objectified and repeatedly sexualized a girl in a context where it was not perceived as appropriate, even when given hints to stop.

"...derive sexual gratification through dishonorable means": trying to interfere with someone who has a boo is pretty dishonorable.

There are exceptions to these (i.e., you can sexualize things when it works in context; you can flirt with girls who have boyfriends as long as you're respecting any boundaries she has), but they're difficult moves.

How do you not be creepy? Treat women like people, be interesting-enough that they try to get your number, don't be transparently trying to get something from others.

Personally, I don't think I buy that, though.

In general, being handsome as fuck means that it's almost impossible to be creepy. 'Creepy' is kind of a buzz-word girls use for when they don't find you attractive, nowadays.
