Well guys, I finally did it. I (23M) finally got my first girlfriend (21F). I’ve learned a lot of stuff about how to do it and how becoming more self-aware, less reactive and giving less fucks is the name of the game. Disclaimer: These tips are only for people who want a relationship btw.

I recently got a sales job and one thing it’s taught me is; it’s truly and numbers game. Trying to increase your roster size is the only way you’ll filter through who you like and who likes you. And once you find out who likes you, that’s who you should go for. I also made a little list in my head of what I want (blonde, cute, athletic) and went wholeheartedly at girls like that. Nobodies perfect but there were things I was looking for and what do you know? That’s what I got. You nursing a crush on one girl who doesn’t want you is only hurting your self-esteem and is a massive waste of time. I personally had 3 girls I could see myself dating and who were very interested in me by the time I sorted through all the BS. So after sifting through like 50 girls. 3 had mutual interest and 1 became my gf.

  1. Remove all expectations. Think about how friendships start. Were you blowing up your friends phones? Asking them to hang constantly? Thinking about them 24/7? Probably not. You probably let it unfold naturally. And the best part is, if she likes you she will make it easy to hang out. That’s a fact. She’ll either drop subtle hints, or like the first time I went out with my girl she was just like “hey me and my friends are having a party you should come.” The point is don’t get overexcited in the beginning. If she wants to, it will happen. Either of you can make the move, it won’t matter.

  2. In the same vein as the last one. The goal should always be to have as much fun as possible. Always be laughing and smiling. People like people who have fun. It’s simple.

I could get into a lot more like being mysterious, ask her a lot of questions, be unreactive, be nice to her, etc. but I’m going to leave it here. Play the numbers.
