Your social status, it matters, a LOT.

For the women about to downvote this just hear me out and ask yourself this. When have you ever dated a man of lower social status than yourself? The answer is probably not, and if you did you were at least of equal status when you first met.

I was wondering if social status actually mattered so I did a test. I would introduce myself to women. Make them laugh, ask fun questions about them and generally get them interested. At some point the question would be asked? So what do you do for work? I would try two different answers here.

I do snow removal. Yourself?

I own a landscaping company, what about you?

The latter got me more numbers, more sexual interest and a continued escalating conversation. The former got me a polite but interesting conversation, followed by rejection upon the attempt at escalation.

I got zero numbers telling girls I did snow removal. Here in Canada that's the bottom of the Barrel when it comes to social status. Especially because I'm 23 and the girls my age are generally in school or just leaving school and hence are in nursing, anatomy, psychology etc... Their social status is higher than mine.

Now I actually do have a landscaping company. I do very well for myself and this started because I didn't want to sound like I was bragging, so I would default to snow removal in hopes of humbling myself. Big mistake.

TLDR: Be a blowfish Jessie. Your image matters, so make yourself look big. She's asking for your resume, so you may as well make it look long and exaggerate the odd thing.
