Knowing what i know now and looking back at some situations I've been in, you should make a move if you think the vibe is right. I've missed out on several chances because I second guessed myself and didn't pull the trigger. Only to realize later on what was happening in that moment were obvious signs. So yeah, if you wait for them to make a move you're going to miss out on some for sure.

Dude people are different. Every one has different personalities and temperaments. You're not going to get a one size fits all answer for this. Some women take the initiative and some don't.

A girl who’s interested will show you she’s interested and basically invite you to take the initiative. So many dumb guys flounder about having no idea a girl was interested in them to the point it’s become a stupid joke. Err on the side of being wrong about a girl being interested in you and act accordingly and see how they react. Assume attraction, take action, calibrate.

I agree with another dude here: every girl is different. When they like you, they aren’t going to all express it the same way.

Another thing to realize is that “taking the initiative” manifests itself differently for women. Societally, being “too direct” is seen as a weird thing when coming from a woman often. Sometimes, putting themselves in physical proximity to you and sparking up seemingly innocent conversation is them taking the initiative and giving you an opening to escalate things. Very rarely will a woman straight up ask you out in the way guys do.

Which one? Come on man all women aren’t the same. It’s all in the individual and their personality type. Some will and some won’t. Simple as that. You can only control what you do though so take the initiative if you don’t want to leave it in their hands.

Women aren't actually that complicated. Men tend to draw from abstraction which is like adding more meaning or significance to her than she's aware of. You should just make a move and find that usually women will go with it even if they don't really have feelings for you. It might take her a day to realize how she really feels, if anything. Try kissing on a first date within the first five minutes. She'll go along with it and probably think differently like it was too soon or awkward, but she still does it.

Some girls really take the initiative from zero to sex but very very few.

Some girls take initiative after you made the first move will help you subtly or overtly.

And some you have to do everyfuckingthing.
