True. The more evidence they collect the better and more efficient a charge. In NY if you deny a breathalyzer the DMV will automatically suspend your license for a year so it’s not like you can say no. I’m not 100% sure, gotta do with having separate evidence and not primarily on a breathalyzer that a good lawyer can get overturned

With a body cam the sobriety test is excellent. And to be honest, courts have faith in their police to make the right judgement when it comes to impairment and usually just believe them. Get a good enough lawyer and you can end up with just a slap on the wrist. It’s rare that people fight over a DWI, most know when they are caught that they are fucked.
