Assuming it is a strip club this rule is likely in place to protect the strippers from rowdy customers. Though i imagine no one will complain if a female customer decides to get up on the dance platform....

It's a bar, and bars don't make as much money when there aren't chicks dancing on tables to entertain fellas who then buy them drinks because they think those chicks are more fun than the rest.

Not saying it isn't sexist, it is, but if we want to do something about stuff like this, we have to get more men to think more with their brain and less with their dick. Then they won't be buying chicks drinks ever, and stuff like Ladies Night will stop making bars a ton of money. That's how it's done.

However, I don't think they should let anyone who isn't a dancer get up on the bar or dance platforms. Because, you know, liability and what not.

This certainly was the case at the Coyote Ugly ‘Saloon’ (not a strip club) in Vegas. There were a bunch of women (patrons, not employees) dancing up on platform. I hopped up there, and in a few seconds was yelled at by an employee to come down. All he said was ‘women only!’

All bars and clubs are sexist on the female side. It's a part of the game and it's just business nothing personal.

Where is live guys can't wear tank tops in any club but women can. A guy wears a hat backwards it's turn it around or get out women can do whatever. Ladies night happens all the time. It no cheap drinks for men ever, most places don't charge cover to ladies but men have to pay.

It's just the way it is, don't like it stay home and drink. It has had quite an effect though. Guys at the clubs are ignoring women now. The guys buy themselves drinks and tell the girls to do the same. Guys get hammered and dance together like drunken sailors while the women are edged out.

So it is changing, Im starting to see a shift of women really starting to be more human to men. And clubs are starting to toss "hot girls" who just drink water all night because guys won't buy them anything.

Bars need men in there spending the money, period. All the advantages extended to females is designed to get guys and their money in the bar but if the balance is too far one way the effects are felt at the till.

For the record, it is not, per se, a strip club. Though probably about as close as you can get without actually being one. It's Cowgirls Inc., and it's just a typical meat market bar.

Three year winner Best Place for a Bachelorette Party, so it's not exactly female unfriendly.

I went to a shit bar in Kansas City in the Power and Lights district. Those scumbags wouldn't even let me dance on the dance floor with my girlfriend. Meanwhile the sleezy ass geezer "bouncer" was literally hover-handing the asses of ever girl on the dance floor. Can you tell I'm still angry about it? Needless to say, they got NONE of my money that night and I convinced the rest of out group to leave after the first round of drinks.
