God damn. For someone who is clearly guilty of statuatory rape, Mrs. Sayer sure is hot.

Anyway yeah clearly it is not the Teachers Union's job to decide punishments for rapists. People who commit statuatory rape should be dealt with under the law regardless of gender, and clearly if Sayer was a man she would have been prosecuted and generally treated much more harshly.

I don't believe Erin Sayer should be locked up in jail necessarily, but I also don't believe that a man in the same position should be locked up in jail. This is just reflective of my beliefs in regards to crime and punishment for all people and has nothing to do with mens rights.

I do believe she should definitely get a criminal conviction on her record and lose her job, though.

A huge problem here is the way feminism has worsened double standards for men. Its absolutely impossible for a straight male to reveal a history of sexual abuse by a woman without scorn, contempt, mockery and ridicule.

Until we change that female pedophiles will never face justice in the courts.

We shouldn't even be implying that the severity of her punishment be based on her physical attractiveness in the eyes of society, as this is one of the inherent problems granting legal favour to women.

Considering that in many countries 16 is already the age of consent and the fact that there was no actual rape involved, I am going to say what many men here are itching to say but are too afraid of getting downvoted:

A couple of thoughts on this situation:

1) Nice!

2) Damn it! Where were all these sexed-up teachers when I was a kid?

3) Equal punishment. If roles were reversed the male teacher would have been all but publicly hanged within hours of the event. Did your job in all of 0.0003 seconds, NY school board.
