The only thing I would is that the vast majority of homeless are men, and how woman love to inflate there numbers by includeing themselves with children as homeless.

This is pretty great and so is this guy. He seems annoying in an endearing way, like a self-aware loudmouth and an antidote for shitty beliefs at the same time. If the patriarchy is real, why would it disadvantage men at all...

I've heard feminists argue that the patriarchy hurts men too. After watching the video, I find that there seems to be a dissonance in understanding of the word patriarchy that feminists love to use and theamazingatheist's view of that word. Can someone explain to me why is there a difference? What exactly do the feminists mean when they refer to the patriarchy? Or is it just another vague term they use to justify their present movement?

I think this guy is setting up a straw man argument when he talks about patriarchy.

I may be wrong, but I don't think when a feminist talks about patriarchy, she means a conspiracy that all men are a part of, but rather the idea that men have greater access to power and that male elites use this power to keep women-- and other men-- down. It's not so much all men have access to power but only men have access to power.

I would say that there are still forces in society that cause women to eschew powerful positions in favor of stability (of course much less so than in the past), but I also think that biology may be a factor, something that feminists seem unwilling to even consider.

I wholeheartedly agree with his position that feminism ignores issues that affect men, but I think putting forward fallacious arguments doesn't really do any good.

Mostly agreed with the points raised, but would contend his assertion that domestic violence is "nearly as common with men as it with women", which isn't true. Men are affected about half as much for experiencing 1 incident of abuse, but for more than 4, women make up 90%. And women generally are harmed worse than a man is, but I do agree that the idea of Domestic Violence against men is scoffed at, in the media.

My complaint to this guy is that the thought his tweet was harmless. It makes a very good point but I doubt that he thought it wasn't gonna piss anyone off. He knew he was gonna get responses.

I just wanted to note that, most men know that it is healthier to be circumcised? Dr. Pask from UConn studies HIV and male foreskin. There is an absolutely correlation between the probability of contracting HIV (and other STDs) and whether or not the male has foreskin or not. So honestly this guy is arguing that male genitalia mutilation is commonplace in the United States. Yeah, that's because it should be. Female genital mutilation? I haven't heard of an advantage of that, but who knows.
