Chivalry is not dead. It has just evolved to become something greater and more noble. it it something those that have it show to anyone regardless of their gender. And it it done by both men and women.

As pointed out my so many others. If you want equality, you cannot expect to keep those privileges had when things were not equal. But at the same time everyone should be able to so chivalry and compassion for others.

This highlights what is probably the biggest problem in the Men's Rights Movement.

Nearly every single person there agrees with us. So why aren't they posting things here? Why aren't they Men's Rights Activists?

How can we make them join a group that their ideology's are so in sync with?

Beyond all of this, I'm not under any obligation to give up a seat to anyone, handicap, woman, or any other reason. If they need a seat that badly, they should bring a wheelchair.
That said, giving up a seat for such a situation is a curtesy. Having given up my seat at a meeting about a year ago (every other person in the meeting was a woman) after one woman beside me purposely pulled her chair away from me after sitting beside me and there were others standing, to which I offered the seat to. This resulted in no one sitting in the seat and I stood because I'd been sitting all day anyway. Terribly awkward and if I wanted to be nasty about it, chivalry dictates one of those women are required to take that seat I offered, yet it didn't happen.

I agree, it is shameful that none of these men were the first to get up. This isn't about equality, this is about stepping up to be good men.
