She lost her Job, is on the sex offender list for 7 years, and suspended sentencing.....

She also got a 6-month suspended sentence, has been sacked, and placed on the sex offenders register. I doubt she'll be able to find work as a teacher again. In fact finding any work will be difficult in a recession with her name in the papers. I don't think she got off too lightly.

this is good! it's so nice to see common sense applied to situations like this. there was no physical contact with the teen, and even if there was, (actual) consent matters. these kind of incidents are a matter for the school ethics board to address, NOT the police or courts.

this is an example that can be held up when a man is in the same position and demand that he be treated with an equal level of clarity. please DO NOT use this as an example as to why this woman, and others in similar situations, should be forced into the same injustices men currently face.

we're in this together and when we strive for "equality" it's not a strive for "equally bad"!!! we're striving for equally GOOD!
