I'm reluctant to admit that perhaps the /AMA crowds have a point. No offense to AnnArchist, I don't mind a person with a conservative slant becoming mod but it does disturb me that someone who posted to /beatingwomen could be a mod of /mensrights. Do we really need to give people more reasons to reinforce their bias that /mensrights are a bunch of misogynists?

I point out Annarchist as a long-time regular MRA who is upheld by the MRA community despite his frequent calls for violence and murder, homobigotry and misandric shaming of other men for having small penises and whatnot, and I'm always told that either he doesn't represent you guys, or nobody likes him.

Sure, I think its OK to be an alpha.

Encouraging competitiveness, strength and other positive traditional male traits isn't a bad thing. It also doesn't mean that you should discourage other non-traditional male traits.

I said that because oney doesn't seem to encourage 'alpha' traits.
